That is one of the goals of the Plan No. 21/KH-UBND issued by the People’s Committee of Bac Giang Province on improving provincial competitiveness (PCI) in 2023.
Specifically, the Plan sets out the goal of maintaining the PCI ranking position of Bac Giang province in the group of 10 leading provinces and cities nationwide; improving PCI score of Bac Giang province to 73.12 points and continuing to be in the group of localities with “good” quality of economic management on the national rankings.
Continue to fully, consistently and effectively implement the tasks and solutions to improve the business investment environment, the PCI Provincial Competitiveness Index in Resolution No. 105-NQ/TU and Plan No. 293/KH-UBND. Uphold the spirit and attitude of serving businesses and investors; constantly innovate, improve management quality, promote digital transformation into serving and supporting and developing businesses, promote socio-economic development of the locality.
The plan specifies assignment for departments, sectors, agencies, focal units, units in charge of 10 specific component indicators; sets out 7 main groups of solutions to organize and implement.
In order to ensure the content of the Plan, on the basis of assigned tasks, heads of departments, agencies and units and chairpersons of People’s Committees of districts and the city actively develop detailed plans and propose measures to ensure the implementation of specific methods to improve PCI of their sectors or units. Completion date is in June 2023.
