CONTRACT SIGNING OF CP09, THE LAST CONSTRUCTION PACKAGE OF HANOI MRT LINE 03, NHON – HANOI STATION SECTION
On 18th December 2019, the Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board (MRB) signed the contract of construction package CP09 – Design, supply and installation of the 4th rail system: Automatic Fare Collection system (AFC) with the group of companies RATP Smart Systems and Flowbird from France. Total value of the package is about 10,900,000 euros.
The AFC system consists of 5 main components:
i) Tickets include untouched tickets and cards
ii) Station equipment for service interface: automatic ticket machine and ticket controllers
iii) Supervising and controlling equipment at stations
iv) Install and control data at Operations Control Center
v) Payment processing center (in the future)
The system design meets European standards and the equipment is mainly made in France.
