To prepare for the launching of elevated section of metro line 3 (MRT Line 3) in April 2021, the Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board (MRB) is planning for personnel recruitment and training before the Operation & Maintenance phase. MRB is collaborating with Hanoi Metro Company, consulting company Systra and relevant contractors to develop training and guideline materials which are planned to be completed in June 2020.
The training plan consists of the number of staff to be trained, number of courses, training venues and training time for each construction packages. Training materials will be divided into construction packages, including Elevated section, Elevated stations, Tunnel and underground stations, Depot infrastructure works, 1st railway system, 2nd railway system, and rail system.
The first train will arrive in Vietnam in July 2020. It is expected to start movement test ride in September 2020 and test ride in March 2021.
